Cambell Hausfeld Power Washer

Review by M. Whitt, 2010-08-28

I have used this power washer to wash my vehicle, a porch and a deck. It does a good job. It has a plastic coupling to attach a garden hose, so do not use the machine to drag the garden hose or you could break the coupling.

Excellent small washer!

Review by Johnette Jarvis, 2010-08-23

This is the best small pressure washer we've ever had... and we've had several of various brands. It has plenty of pressure for any job. We use it for washing vehicles, the patio, etc. LOVE the small size and light weight because it's so easy to use. Highly recommend it for home use. Excellent price too!

Mostly doing the job

Review by Richard C. Bigelow, 2010-07-22

I have only used this item once. It worked very well cleaning some stone steps and paved driveway. I just tested it on vinal siding and it seemed to work well on that too. I tried washing my truck with it and it is not powerful enough to use alone to clean a vehicle. I have not used it for the original reason for buying it, which is washing and preparing for painting a metal roof on a travel trailer. For light cleaning, I would recommend it, but for heavy jobs, more pressure is needed.

DO NOT BUY

Review by Robert F. Wall, 2010-07-19

I've never had a product break so fast in my entire life. I used this power washer for 15 minutes one day to wash my ATV. Everything was fine. Next day I go to use it and it is spraying water everywhere from the handle. Apparently somehow the the cheap plastic and/or gasket cracked where the hose meets the sprayer handle. It was then unusable. Yes this thing is cheap but I would have gladly paid more if I knew in advance how bad it was. And apparently a break like this is not under warranty. So now I am left with the choice of spending $50-$100 on a new hose and gun to hook up to this junk or spending a bunch more to buy a real power washer. Save yourself the frustration. And don't think it wont happen to you. This is super cheap quality. It will break, it's just a matter of time. And just FYI, I was not rough with it at all. Not in the least bit.

Very happy so far

Review by Graham Stewart, 2010-06-21

Only had this for a few days, but i'm very happy

Pros:

* Small - the whole thing fits in a large plastic storage tote
* Decent pressure - enough for cleaning the garage floor, washing the cars etc... It won't strip paint but i rarely need that ability
* Metal fittings - the hose fitting on this are metal, unlike my last Karcher that used plastic
* Light - You can actually hold the washer in one hand and the gun in the other when walking around a car that you are washing

Cons:

* Drips a little. We're not talking about a huge leak here, but there were definitely a few ounces of water on the floor where it was sitting. I've found this to be pretty typical of any pressure washer i've owned
* Power cord is a little short - obviously it's easy to extend, but it isn't as long as my karcher cord.

I'll update this if anything fails catastrophically, but so far it's made it longer than my last Karcher did.
